New Here?

You are really welcome

Whether you’re completely new to church, returning after some time away, or just curious about what we believe, we’d love to welcome you to Emmanuel.

We know visiting a church for the first time can feel a little daunting. Our aim is to make you feel at home—whether you’re exploring faith, looking for a church family, or just visiting for the day.

Here’s what to expect if you decide to come along.

Sundays at Emmanuel

Start time and duration

Our Sunday service starts at 11am and lasts just over an hour and a half. We meet together to sing, pray, hear from the Bible, and encourage one another.

What happens during the service

At Emmanuel, we are passionate about God’s Word, the Bible. We believe this is how God speaks to us today, so in our services we read the Bible together and listen to someone preaching a sermon on a specific passage.

What to expect

You’ll find a relaxed atmosphere, a mix of ages, and a warm welcome at the door. There’s no dress code, and you won’t be put on the spot to introduce yourself or anything.

What about children and young people?

Sunday School

Sunday School for children from P1 and up, from 10am to 10.45am, before the main service.

During the 11am service:
A crèche for babies and toddlers

Children’s church for primary school aged children.

All our children’s and youth leaders are trained and follow safeguarding policies to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
